"When God shuts one door
then he opens another door". This was what happened to Dr. Inder Pal Singh Kalsi. When
God reduced his eye sight, he increased the inner light. With this
enlightenment he
started spreading the preachings of GURU GRANTH SAHIB.
He motivates people to implement the preachings of Guru in their day to day life. TMP Company has produced
two cassettes of Gurabani, "Wadyain" and "Ja tu Mere
Wal Hain" sung by him . This is his contribution toward
Sikhism. His wife Smt. Kawaljit Kaur Birdi also serves
and spreads knowldge among girls. She is serving as principal
of Ramgarhia Girls Sr. Sec. School, Miller Ganj Ludhiana.
The couple is performing their duties which they
believe God has
assigned to them. |

Dr. Inderpal Singh Kalsi
was born to Smt. Sham Kaur
Sohal in village Rampur Katani, Distt. Ludhiana on 30th
May,1955. His Father Sardar Tirlok Singh served the Indian Army. He did his
matriculation from Vishavkarma Higher Sec. School in
1975. Then he did pre-medical from Government College for
boys, Ludhiana. Then he joined Army College, Ambala for
BAMS which he cleared in 1981.
After completing his graduation in Ayuverda he started his
practice. Unfortunately he met with an accident
during his college time. The effect of the accident
was on his eyesight which is reducing gradually. At
the end of year 2000, he was not able to read and write
properly. So he had to quit his medical practice. Then
he devoted himself to Gurbani. |

Now he is an active member of Guru Nanak Mission Parcharak Sabha,
Parbhat Nagar Ludhiana. He is a good player of
Harmonium, Tabla, Flute and Guitar. Now he recites Gurbani
and arranges Diwan (Public Gathering). He got
married to Smt. Kawaljit Kaur Birdi on 15th
June, 1983. She is daughter of Sardar Prem Singh Birdi.
She did her matric from Vishvkarma Higher Sec. School
in 1978. She did her B.A. from Ramgarhia Girls College
and then B.Ed from G.H.G.

She has been an all rounder
during her academic carrier. She joined the same school
as a teacher where she had studied (Ramgarhia School, Partap Nagar Ludhiana). On 20th Jan, 1993 she joined Ramgarhia Girls Sen. Sec. School Ludhiana as
principal. Under her principalship the strength of
the school has increased manifolds. The year 2003 is the
golden year of the school. It was started in
1953 when Baba Gurmukh Singh (G. S. Auto) thought that
girls must be
provided equal opportunity in the field of education.
So he started this girl’s school. Now this school is
providing Quality education to girls. She is
thankful to Giani Bhagat Singh Ji for his timely help
during her studies. The couple is blessed with two sons and a
daughter. |
