He was very happy when he was helping the
earthquake hit people in Gujarat. He thought that his
ambition to become a doctor and serve the helpless and poor
is fulfilled, This was said by Dr. Avtar Singh Kharey
MS (Ortho). Who was member of the relief team which was
sent to Gujrat by Daya Nand Hospital Ludhiana.
He was born to Dr. Nirmal Kaur Dhani MBBS
on 16th June 1972 in Ludhiana. His father Dr. Joginder
Singh Kharey is helping the
poor and treating the ailing |

humanity taking nominal charges. He is regularly
conducting the free checkup camp at Manav Kender
Ferozpur Road. His mother, Dr. Nirmal Kaur had
paralysis of the both legs in 19--, She is still
helping the poor and does practice at her residence. |

Dr. Avtar Singh Kharey did his matriculation from
Guru Nanak Public School in 1987 He did his +2 from
Govt. College for boys, then he joined Daya Nand
Medical College and Hospital for MBBS in 1990. He did MS (Ortho) from the same institute in
1997. Now |

he is working as senior resident at DMC & H. He gives
credit of his success to the blessings of his parents. He
has
been a brilliant student throughout his academic session. Bhai Lallo Sewa Ashram (Regd.) had recognoised
his services and awarded him at a big function. He was
member of the releif team which was sent to
Gujarat.
He got married to Smt. Sonia Singh Bhamra D/O
Col. Joginder Singh Bhamra on 12/10/2001. She did
her MBBS from Amritsar. Now she is doing MD at
Christen Medical College. The couple is blessed
with a son. |
